The Korean pop music agency BlockBerry Creative is under fire after LOONA member Hyunjin recently made public some controversial practices involving members' dormitory confinement.

On the digital platform Fab, Hyunjin narrated an episode from their early days at BlockBerry Creative, when LOONA members were allegedly prohibited from leaving their dorm without permission. This account, later shared on Reddit, has now ignited widespread outrage among fans, also known as ORBITs.

Hyunjin's story paints a picture of life under constant surveillance, with a CCTV camera installed outside their living quarters reportedly during their formative days in the K-pop world. Amid these stringent measures, the members tried various, albeit unsuccessful, escape tactics like acquiring a ladder or masquerading their attempts under the pretext of taking out the trash.

Hyunjin related the tale with a blend of humor and frustration. She recounted, "Back then, we were banned from going out at that point in time. But honestly, how can a person not go outside and still survive, right?" Her dissatisfaction culminated in her severing the CCTV wires with scissors.

The controversy deepened when fans unearthed an earlier video of fellow LOONA member Chuu revealing their limited freedom, stating they were only allowed outside for a mere 20 minutes.

While Hyunjin's narration was initially meant to entertain fans with their rookie-era antics, it backfired, leading to a wave of criticism towards BlockBerry Creative for the agency's reported treatment of LOONA members.

Comments by incensed fans range from "I'm not even joking when I say the CEO and managers who enabled this behavior should be condemned to the deepest pits of hell" to "They enforced behavior which constitute human rights violations." Others called for liberation of all the members, and many pondered the extent of the ill-treatment the girls might have endured throughout their careers.

While this storm of criticism intensifies, BlockBerry Creative has yet to respond to the allegations brought forth by LOONA's Hyunjin. Fans across the globe eagerly await the agency's response amid growing concerns over the K-pop stars' well-being.
