Rising K-pop group STAYC recently graced the cover of their first fashion magazine, as they transformed into enchanting spring fairies for the May issue of The Star.

Their agency, High Up Entertainment, announced on April 27 (KST), "STAYC participated in a photoshoot and interview for The Star's May issue." In the released photos, STAYC portrayed a lovely and dreamy mood, showcasing their unique "teen-fresh" energy and various charms.

STAYC promoted their fourth single album 'Teddy Bear,' released on February 14th. When asked in the interview about a figure that boosts their self-esteem, like a 'Teddy Bear,' Isa replied, "Our self-esteem guardian is 'SWEET' (official fandom name)," expressing gratitude to their fans and saying, "We're truly happy to be promoting alongside many teddy bears."

Previously, STAYC announced their decision to rotate leadership among members. Following Sumin, Sieun and Seeun will take on the leader role for the upcoming album promotions.

Regarding this decision, Sieun said, "Nothing has changed significantly," and continued, "We decided to rotate the leader position to prioritize teamwork and enjoy our activities without feeling burdened." She also admitted to feeling slightly burdened by the individual responsibility of being a leader and mentioned the need to mature more.

As STAYC enters their fourth year since debut, when asked about their turning points, Sumin and Seeun mentioned 'Teddy Bear,' J and Isa mentioned 'Beautiful Monster,' and Sieun chose their fan meeting. Yoon was still unsure, explaining, "I'm the type to gradually progress rather than achieving something all at once."

Lastly, when discussing their aspirations, Isa said, "I want to be remembered as a bright artist like now" and added, "I hope the public feels happiness when they see us." Sieun expressed her desire for STAYC, saying, "Sometimes like a friend, sometimes like family, we want to be a precious presence that's always by their side."

STAYC will hold their 2023 solo fan meeting from May 19th to 21st at the Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.
