The group BTS has signed a renewal contract with Big Hit Music. The renewal will be carried out individually and sequentially, considering the military service status of the members.

On the 20th, Big Hit Music, the agency of BTS, made a board resolution to renew the exclusive contracts with BTS members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. Based on this board resolution, contracts will be signed sequentially with all members of BTS.

Having debuted in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment, the predecessor of HYBE, BTS has risen to become a representative artist of South Korea, topping prestigious global charts such as the US Billboard, UK Official Chart, Japan's Oricon, iTunes, Spotify, and Apple Music.

Furthermore, they have performed at all three major US music award ceremonies: the Grammy Awards, American Music Awards, and Billboard Music Awards. They've also exerted positive influence through their UN speech and the "Love Myself" campaign.

Starting from 2022, they entered the second chapter of their career, balancing group and individual activities due to their military service obligations. Jin began his military service last December, followed by J-Hope in April of this year. Suga is set to fulfill his military duties as a social service worker on the 22nd.

Big Hit Music plans to sign contracts individually and sequentially, considering the military service status of some members. Members currently serving in the military are expected to have completed their service by 2025, when the new exclusive contract period begins.

HYBE stated, "With the renewal of the contract, we can look forward to BTS's full-group activities in 2025," and added, "HYBE and Big Hit Music will provide all possible support to further elevate BTS's stature."
