On the 13th, the South Korean group, hailed as the '21st-century pop icon,' BTS marked their tenth anniversary. Since their debut in 2013 with the single '2 COOL 4 SKOOL,' BTS has solidified their unique standing in the music industry, breaking countless records.

A Bright 10-Year History with ARMY

BTS made their mark with their debut title song 'No More Dream' in 2013. From the onset, the group swept new artist awards in both domestic and international circles. Through their 'School Trilogy' albums, '2 COOL 4 SKOOL', 'O!RUL8,2?', and 'Skool Luv Affair', they established a unique musical identity coupled with impressive performance and world-building.

In 2015, BTS released two albums themed around 'The Most Beautiful Moment in Life', a narrative on the coexistence of beauty and anxiety in 'youth'. They exuded youthful energy and scored their first entry into the Billboard 200, a significant achievement for the group.

From then on, their journey became a series of unprecedented K-pop firsts. 'Dynamite' secured the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for a Korean artist's work, while 'Life Goes On' climbed to the top of the chart as the first Korean song in Billboard's 62-year history.

Songs like 'Butter', 'Permission to Dance', and collaborations like 'Savage Love' with Jason Derulo and 'My Universe' with Coldplay, have seen BTS conquer the Hot 100 charts with a total of six songs. They also topped the Billboard 200 chart with six albums, from 'LOVE YOURSELF 轉 Tear' to 'Proof'.

BTS's global influence is evident in their accolades. They've been Grammy nominees for three consecutive years, performed solo concerts, won the 'American Music Awards' grand prize for five straight years, and secured the 'Billboard Music Awards' for six years in a row.

Beyond the music market, BTS has spread 'positive influence'. They have participated in the United Nations General Assembly thrice as global youth representatives and were appointed as special presidential envoys for future generations and culture. In 2022, they were invited to the White House and met with U.S. President Joe Biden to discuss countermeasures against anti-Asian hate crimes.

The Second Chapter with ARMY

BTS has embarked on the second act of their careers, with group and individual activities in full swing. Each member is releasing albums imbued with their musical colors. They have also ventured into entertainment shows, showcasing diverse charms. On the 9th, they released the digital single 'Take Two' to commemorate their 10th debut anniversary, topping global music charts.

'Take Two' encapsulates their gratitude to their fandom, ARMY, who have shared splendid moments over the past ten years. It expresses thanks for the love fans have sent and the hope to continue together. As BTS positions themselves for a fresh start on their 10th anniversary, the ARMY continues to walk alongside them.

Their 10th-anniversary celebrations are grand in scale. The 2023 BTS FESTA includes the release of the new song 'Take Two' and an array of online and offline activities under the slogan 'BTS PRESENTS EVERYWHERE'.

The online celebrations began on the 3rd with a 'BTS Concert Enjoyed at Home' streaming festival, delivering various content and social media campaigns for fans' enjoyment.
