As legal tensions heighten with their management, SM Entertainment, Baekhyun, Xiumin, and Chen, the trio collectively known as EXO-CBX, assured fans of their unwavering commitment to the band EXO.

Lee Jae Hak, the legal representative of the EXO-CBX members from Lin Law Firm, issued a statement on Monday, contradicting recent assertions made by SM Entertainment.

The band members refuted SM Entertainment's claims, asserting that they were yet to receive the settlement data promised by the agency. They also contended that they faced undue pressure to renew contracts they initially signed back in 2010 and 2011.

The statement shed light on the alleged hardships the trio faced within the agency, including fear that not renewing their contracts could detrimentally impact the entire band.

The trio expressed, "I have heard stories that if an individual does not agree to renew the contract, the rest of the team or the team as a whole could be disadvantaged."

The members concluded their statement with a powerful message to their fans, hinting at potential exploitation of their career dedication. "If someone was taking advantage of the memories, love, youth, effort and passion of the members and fans for 11 years, I think this should be corrected."

Baekhyun, Xiumin, and Chen further reassured fans that their allegiance to EXO remains steadfast. "We value EXO members more than anything else. For half of our lives, we have shared the joys and sorrows with the members. We will never betray such members, and we will put EXO first under any circumstances," they affirmed.

They added, "Above all, we are not afraid as long as there are fans."

Last Thursday, the trio announced their departure from SM Entertainment, leveling charges of unpaid dues and unfair contract terms, sparking a legal battle against the agency.

SM Entertainment has refuted the allegations, issuing a counterstatement challenging the trio's claims. As reported by Koreaboo, the agency insisted that the trio had not raised any issues previously and denied withholding accounting records. Furthermore, the agency stated its compliance with the Fair Trade Commission's standard exclusive contract.

The agency also confirmed that any contractual renewals and agreements resulted from mutual discussions and consent with the artists.

In response to the trio's fan-oriented pledge, international EXO-Ls have expressed unwavering support, sharing encouraging messages and posters on Twitter. The hashtag #weareoneEXO trended with more than 26,800 tweets at the time of reporting.

As the legal dispute between EXO-CBX and SM Entertainment unfolds, fans worldwide are anticipated to sustain their support.
