The world of trot music mourns as singer Hae-soo has passed away.

On May 15, Haesoo's representatives took to the official fan cafe to share the heartbreaking news, stating, "We regret to inform you of this painful and unfortunate news. Haesoo left us on the 12th and has become the light of the vast sea."

They continued, "Haesu was a warm person who knew how to give and share love with those around him. Family members, friends, and colleagues, who received the sudden news, are mourning and grieving for the departed."

Adding further, they said, "The funeral was held quietly and privately, in accordance with the family's wishes. We earnestly request everyone to refrain from speculative and malicious reporting and spreading rumors, to allow the family, deep in sorrow, to mourn and send off the deceased in peace."

According to the police, a report was received around 10 am on the 12th that trot singer A was found lifeless. The police found what seemed to be a suicide note left by A, and it was later revealed that A was indeed Haesoo.

Born in 1993, Haesoo made her debut in November 2019. She had also appeared on KBS 2TV's entertainment program 'Immortal Songs' earlier this year.
