Trot singer Jang Yoon-jeong has expressed her deep sorrow for the loss of her junior, Haesoo.

On May 15, Jang Yoon-jeong's husband and broadcaster Do Kyung-wan posted a long message saying, "The following words are from my wife Jang Yoon-jung, expressing her feelings for her beloved junior, Haesoo."

Jang Yoon-jeong expressed her grief, "I've made a painful farewell with Haesu, who I loved so much. I embraced her with the heart of a mother bird, hoping she would receive love, heal her wounds, and fly beautifully from my nest, but I lost her. She was truly a lovely child. I guess she behaved so lovingly because she was going to make such a painful farewell."

She continued, "I offered flowers to Haesu, burned incense in front of her portrait, and bowed in prayer. It's indescribable pain to keep showing Haesu the image of a senior who does her best on stage with a smile and during recording, despite feeling so sorrowful and difficult."

Haesoo was found dead in her residence on the 12th. She passed away at the age of 29. The police reported that a suicide note, believed to have been written by Haesu, was found at the scene, indicating a likely suicide.

Haesoo majored in Pansori at the Korea National University of Arts' School of Traditional Arts. She made her debut with her first mini-album 'My Life, My Way' in November 2019. She also appeared on KBS 2TV's 'Immortal Songs' Lunar New Year special edition in January.

Here is the full message from Jang Yoon-jeong:

I've made a painful farewell with Haesoo, who I loved so much.

I embraced her with the heart of a mother bird, hoping she would receive love, heal her wounds, and fly beautifully from my nest, but I lost her.

She was truly a lovely child. I guess she behaved so lovingly because she was going to make such a painful farewell.

I rushed to the funeral parlor before it was even set up, and I said my last goodbye late last night when everyone must have been exhausted.

I offered flowers to Haesoo, burned incense in front of her portrait, and bowed in prayer.

It's indescribable pain to keep showing Haesu the image of a senior who does her best on stage with a smile and during recording, despite feeling so sorrowful and difficult.

I was numb, laughing that it must be a lie, then crying again, shouting, getting angry that it's cruel, missing her...... It's a pain that can't be expressed in words.

How should I let go of Haesoo, who kept showing me her smile until the last day, leaning on me, and expressing her love without reservation... Please pray for the repose of the deceased.

Haesu, I won't scold you for what you did.... Please come to my dream just once, I miss you..

Every time we met for a drink, you always said "Senior, I'll set it up~" and always went ahead and waited for me...

Go ahead and set up the drink. When I arrive where you are, let's have fun without delay!!

I love you Haesu.......I won't forget.

I offer my deep condolences for the deceased.
