The maknae aka the youngest member of the Bangtan Boys, Jungkook has created a new record by becoming the K-pop idol with the most nominations in the People's Choice Awards history, after bagging two nominations for this year's awards.

In the list of nominations for 2022, the People's Choice Awards announced that Jungkook has earned two nominations for his collab song with Charlie Puth called "Left and Right" in the categories of Music Video of 2022 and Collaboration song of 2022.

The "Euphoria" singer is now the first K-pop idol and the second K-pop solo act, after Korean sensation PSY, to ever get a nomination from People's Choice Awards.

2022 has been a good year for Jungkook, both in terms of collaborations and solo releases, starting with the OST "Stay Alive" for "7 Fates: CHAKHO", the BTS webtoon. The song was produced by fellow band member SUGA.

The month of June saw him collaborating with American singer Charlie Puth for the foot-tapping and chat-busting track "Left and Right". The song broke many records and earned Jungkook love from fans across the globe.

In addition to his solo nominations, the much-loved megastar has also earned nominations as part of BTS. The band has got three nominations at the 2022 People's Choice Awards. The Bangtan Boys have been nominated in the categories of The Music Video of 2022 and The Group of 2022 for "Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)". Incidentally, BTS took home the awards for both categories in 2021.

The Kings of K-pop have also got a nomination in the category of The Concert Tour of 2022 for "Permission to Dance On Stage".

Meanwhile, Jungkook shared two photos of himself on Instagram where he is thanking fans for helping him get the nominations. His collaborator for the song "Left and Right" Charlie Puth also congratulated Jungkook via Instagram stories, mentioning he was happy to share the nominations with the K-pop idol.

Fans can vote for Jungkook by going to the official website of the People's Choice Awards and selecting their preferred song or artist to cast their vote. Fans can also cast their vote via Twitter by tweeting or retweeting the hashtags of the official nominee.

In other news, Jungkook arrived back in South Korea after wrapping his Qatar schedule. His airport look comprised an all-black attire and glasses.
