The Bangtan Boys' golden maknae Jungkook has been achieving impressive feats and gathering records since "Stay Alive", his first debut solo work, was released. Now the K-pop megastar has broken new records on the audio streaming platform Spotify.

The South-Korean artist recently amassed more than 2 million Spotify followers, going on to become the fastest K-pop act and Korean do achieve this feat in just 81 days since he opened the account.

Furthermore, it should be noted that Jungkook earned this feat with just one webtoon ost "Stay Alive" credited to his account on Spotify.

Soon enough "Jungkook2MSpotify and "Spotify King Jungkook" trended on Twitter as the ARMY celebrated Jungkook's impressive achievement.

Incidentally, Jungkook is the Asian artist with the most Spotify followers in the first 24 hours and remains the fastest Korean/K-pop act to achieve 500K-2M Spotify followers.

The monthly listeners of Jungkook also peaked at 7 million within just 28 days of releasing "Stay Alive", his first solo debut work, making him the fastest K-pop/Korean male soloist to reach 7 million monthly Spotify listeners. 

The BTS maknae is also the fastest Korean/K-pop male act to reach 1-7 million monthly Spotify listeners, which is a testimony to his unparalleled musical power.

Meanwhile, fellow band member V has achieved his own feat. His ost "Christmas Tree" has become the bestselling ost in the US, which is the largest music market in the world, selling more than 23,500 copies, in addition to becoming the Billboard Hot 100's first and highest-charting Korean OST.

The song has been breaking records since its release in December 2021. It is a romantic ballad, which also created history for being an unpromoted Korean ost and holds unbreakable records.

V also maintains his record as the Only Korean Soloist With A Solo Song To Top Billboard's Digital Song Sales chart.

TaeTae has already secured records as the First Korean Soloist and the First Korean OST to Feature in the Billboard Hot 100 chart, in addition to preserving the title of the Highest Charting Korean Official Sound Track in the chart. The song is also the first and fastest K-drama ost to sell over 100,000 units in the US.

A Korean Radio Station recently paid ode to V for becoming the first Korean artist to chart a Korean OST on the US Billboard Hot 100, in addition to praising his fashion, his CGV title, his voice, and his records.
