The Bangtan Boys have finally disclosed more about the story and the roles they will have in the upcoming BTS webtoon 7 Fates: Chakho in interviews posted on the official YouTube channel.

Jimin, who is adoringly called Mochi by fans, explains about the webtoon saying that there are interesting factors from Korea's old folklore in addition to beoms (tigers) that will feature in it. They include monsters from Korean legends such as the bulgasalyi and yogwe. 7 Fates: Chakho is a story that reimagines folklore and legends.

Mochi plays the character of Haru, who is not human. For a long period, he was actually a rock guarding the gate to the beom's world, and then eventually that rock became a human. So basically Jimin is a supernatural being in the webtoon, who lived for a long time and therefore also has the qualities of a master.

Meanwhile, Jin tells how the story of 7 Fates: Chakho begins in the corrupt and dangerous city of Sin-si, where monsters known as beoms come to the city to prey on humans. So seven tiger hunters assemble together under the name Chakho.

The Super Tuna singer will be playing the role of Hwan in the webtoon. Hwan, an ordinary archer, goes on to become a beom hunter after losing his whole family to the beoms. He is mischievous and playful, but an awesome and really cool archer when it comes to hunting. Jin also adds that Koreans are great archers.

The leader of the Bangtan Boys, RM gives a deeper insight into the webtoon's story, saying that it is about the seven tiger hunters' tragic fate. Each of them comes together to take revenge for the death of their loved ones.

RM plays the role of Do-Geon in the highly-anticipated, upcoming webtoon. He is a crime expert, who has survived in the city's back alleys and has had a hard life. The character is shown to be very perceptive and can handle all types of firearms.

Do-Geon is very strong even on his own, therefore, to start with, he does not want to be a part of the Chakho team. He feels that he does not need a team and can work on his own. However, as fate would have it, he keeps on running into them. Subsequently, RM's character starts to feel that maybe it is his fate to become their partner. Eventually, all the seven become one team.

7 Fates: Chakho is slated for release on January 15.
