Kim Seon Ho and Shin Min Ah's drama project is finally moving forward after months of wait. The artists recently attended the first script reading for their romance-comedy drama titled Seashore Village ChaChaCha, and fans are already excited.

In December 2020, shortly after Kim Seon Ho finished his schedules for Start-Up, it was rumored that he would be doing a drama with the 37-year-old Shin Min Ah. However, at that time, it was just a speculation as fans have been calling for the two to be in a project together.

It was only in April this year when it was finally confirmed, and prior to this, the pair has been nicknamed the "Dimple Couple" by the fans for obvious reasons. Drama lovers were overjoyed with the confirmation as they can already see great chemistry between Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho.

In any case, the good news is that the two have already completed their first script reading, and some behind-the-scenes photos of the event were released. Soompi shared several images, and aside from the said lead actors, Lee Sang Yi, Kim Young Ok, Shin Shin Ae, Gong Min Jung, Lee Bong Ryun, In Gyo Jin, Lee Yong Yi, Kang Hyung Suk, and Cha Chung Hwa were also present in the script reading for the drama adaptation of the original movie titled Mr. Hong.

It was said that the actors' chemistry was already very strong, even if they were only reading their lines. The production team led by director Yoo Je Won and writer Shin Ha Eun were said to have been really impressed with the cast members' acting and teamwork.

According to News1, Kim Seon Ho also drew everyone's attention as he showed off his charms during the event. The 35-year-old actor totally immersed himself and adapted to his role as Hong Doo Shik in no time. It was said that his dialogues were delivered awesomely and complete with gestures.

Meanwhile, Seashore Village ChaChaCha tells the story of Yoon Hye Jin (Shin Min Ah), a dentist, and Hong Doo Shik, who do odd jobs around the town to earn money. The dentist moved to the small village of Gongjin, and her life changed when she met Doo Shik, who is called Chief Hong by the villagers.

Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho's new drama is expected to premiere in the latter half of this year.
