BTS' latest single 'Butter' had entered Billboard's famous Hot 100 chart. Billboard Hot 100 is the music industry standard record chart in the United States for songs and it is published weekly by Billboard magazine.

On June 1, Billboard officially announced that BTS 'Butter' bounds in at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart.

The K-pop kings - Jungkook, J-Hope, RM, V, Suga, Jimin, and Jin, have now earned four No. 1 single on the chart, all in the last nine months, marking any act's quickest accumulation of four initial leaders since Justin Timberlake a decade-and-a-half ago.

'Butter' is now BTS' fourth song to top the Billboard Hot 100, following the boy group's 'Dynamite,' their 'Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat),' collaboration with Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo, and lastly is their 'Life goes on.'

According to Billboard, among the groups, BTS has become the first group in history to have three songs - 'Dynamite,' 'Life Goes On,' and 'Butter' - that enter Billboard Hot 100 at No. 1.

BTS has also become the seventh artist to earn their first four Hot 100 No. 1 in less than a year.

According to MRC Data, 'Butter,' the K-pop group's second song performed fully in English, earned a total of 32.2 million United States streams, and sold 242, 800 downloads in the week ending on May 27.

MCR Data is a data and analytics provider to the music business and consumers. The company was established in 2019 through the acquisition of Nielsen Music by former Billboard parent MRC.

In the week ending on May 30, the song also gained 18.1 million radio airplay audience impressions. 'Butter's music video was the biggest premiere in YouTube history. It has 3.9 million concurrent viewers for its May 21 premiere.

The boy group broke its record that was set when their 'Dynamite' attracted 3 million concurrent viewers, according to the official YouTube blog.
