According to the latest weekly chart, the South Korean boy group's videos rack up an incredible 549 million plays. Their countless uploads were watched more than a half-billion times in the last seven days alone.

This is because of the release of their new music video 'Butter.' BTS's 'Butter' music video is a massive hit on every platform it's available on.

According to Forbes, 'Butter' beats the second most popular title on YouTube this frame more than five times over. The clip was watched 235 million times in the first seven days it was available to view on the platform.

BTS's latest monster release is in a very distant first place among all the most popular videos on YouTube in the past week, as Jubin Nautiyal's 'Lut Gaye,' winds up at No. 2 and only managed to gain 41.4 million plays in the most recent tracking frame.

This means that the South Korean septet's new single beat the second most popular release on the platform this time around more than five times over.

Whenever an act as big as BTS releases something as enormously popular as 'Butter' has ended up, their whole catalog benefits, as fans proceed to watch and tune in to their older releases. This causes in keeping their view count rising higher and higher.

Multiple of BTS's old releases and most beloved tracks improve significantly on this week's YouTube chart and the tracks played a part in adding to that 549 million number.

BTS beat this week's second most played musician, Alka Yagnik, more than twice over. And the K-pop titans saw their catalog views improve more than 196% week over week.
