The K-pop industry gears to welcome new additions to the roster of prominent K-pop groups each year. And one of this year’s entry is Maroo Entertainment’s latest nine-member boy group, GHOST9.

Since then, Maroo Entertainment is known for launching K-pop most-promising stars, and one of them is Park Ji Hoon. Moreover, GHOST9 is glazed to release the right pieces of music that will surely capture the fans’ hearts.


Trained and managed by Maroo Entertainment, the all-new boy group bottles up nine dashing members from Produce X 101 reality survival show and MIXNINE. Three of which are from the K-pop unit called TEEN TEEN, while one member worked in producing one of Park Ji Hoon’s album

GHOST9 was tagged as the Marookies before its debut.


Hailing from different and various family backgrounds, experiences, ages, and cultures, GHOST9 is the perfect combination of musical geniuses.

Lee Kang Sung, Lee Shin, Lee Taeseung, Hwang Dong Jun, Son Jun Hyung, Lee Woo Jin, Choi Jun Seong, Prince, and Lee Jin Woo comprises GHOST9, set to dominate the global music stage with its multi-talent assets.


Before GHOST9’s debut, the group showed off their intense choreographies in dance videos shared to their official Youtube channel.

GLEEZ stands for GHOST LIVING in an Empty Earth and Z, symbolizing the nine ghost personas of each member. The character is inspired by the animated show Adventure Time with Finn and Jake, where the ghosts held by each member lived and grew up on Earth like an ordinary human.


GHOST9 put on a spectacular show for its debut through an album release in the form of an extended play entitled PRE EPISODE 1: DOOR. The album includes five tracks and a title track called Think of Dawn.
