On August 16 (Sunday), the renowned music video of MOMOLAND’s 2018 first hit dance song called ‘BAAM,’ achieved the 200 million mark on Youtube views. As per Soompi, the coveted milestone the South Korean all-girl group achieved took them two years, one month, and twenty-one days since its release on June 26, 2018.

Moreover, ‘BAAM’ now is the newest edition to the band’s 200 million views music video achievers following their freshman song ‘BBoom BBoom.’ ‘BAAM’ is a piece of the girl group’s fourth extended play entitled ‘Fun to the World.’

In a report by Kpopchingu, upon the music video hits the 200 million mark, it also hails a massive 1.7 million likes and 200 million views. Several avid fans of MOMOLAND left their joyous remarks in the music video’s comments section.

The comments read this way: “Wow 200 million views,” “Happy 200Miliion Views,” “Finally we did it 200m views congrats to Momoland and to us,” and “Congratulation on hitting 200M views.”

To those who missed ‘BAAM,’ the famous track is recorded by MOMOLAND and was shortly released by MLD Entertainment as the lead track of the girl group’s ‘Fun to the World’ mini-album in 2018. The song was reimagined and re-recorded by MOMOLAND under King Records as a single and was made available on November 7, the same year. Moreover, ‘BAAM’ is the finale single of member Taeha with her fellow bandmates as she severed her connection to the group by the end of 2019.

In the week of June 30, 2018, the record soared at number 27 on the Gaon Digital Chart. And in its sophomore week, ‘BAAM’ emerged to the 17th spot and number 14 in its third week. The fourth week finishes at the number 13 spot.

MOMOLAND also released a Japanese version of the song that made them earn an estimated 13,665 sales in Japan.
