The cast of the highly-anticipated movie "Diva," Shin Min Ah, Lee Kyu Hyung, and Lee Yoo Young are gearing for its premiere!

Per Soompi, "Diva" follows the story about lee Young (played by Shin Min Ah), who is dubbed as the "diva of the diving world." After an accident, madness steadily invades her as she lost her memories, and after her best friend, Soo Jin (played by Lee Yoo Young), disappeared.

The film held a press conference on August 13, and the cast shared their thoughts about their upcoming movie. And it was revealed that Shin Min Ah and Lee Yoo Young went to extensive training for their roles as divers.

Shin Min Ah, who is now back to the big screen after six years, shared that she was drawn to the movie "Diva" from the start of the preparation until its release. And every time she hears about the release date, she becomes nervous and excited as she looks forward to the premiere.

Lee Yoo Young also shared that she has to go through a lot of training for her role as a diver, and she noted that she is very excited about the release because they filmed after she trained as a diver for four months.

Furthermore, Shin Min Ah, who will show another side of her on the film, stated that the movie's script was very intense. After she immersed in her emotions, she then wondered what Shin Min Ah would be doing if she was in the character's shoe.

She continued that the role was very emotionally challenging, and she has to show some physical skills since her character is a professional diver.

Expressing his insights towards the character of Soo Jin, Lee Yoo Young, said that Soo-Jin is a mysterious person. With that, he needs to confusingly act so that people won't know what she's truly like.

Moreover, Lee Kyu Hyung revealed why he joined the cast of the movie. He shared that after hearing that the director of the film was the one who wrote "A Taxi Driver" and "Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned," he became so drawn to it. Also, with Shin Min Ah and Lee Yoo Young, he knew that he needs to join.

Preparing his character, he shared that he studied the history of diving. And since there was a scene where he has to play as a coach, he practiced how to teach and correct others.
