Global pop star Jungkook from BTS has once again made history on the American Billboard charts.

According to an article previewing the chart published on the official website of the American music media Billboard on the 14th (Korean time), the title track 'Standing Next to You' from BTS Jungkook's solo album 'GOLDEN' has entered the main song chart 'Hot 100' (dated November 18th) at 5th place. The song recorded 10.6 million streams, 400 thousand radio broadcasts, and a combined total of 99 thousand physical and digital single sales.

Last year, Jungkook charted with 'Stay Alive (Prod. SUGA of BTS)' from HYBE's original story '7FATES: CHAKHO' OST (95th place), his collaboration with Charlie Puth 'Left and Right (Feat. Jung Kook of BTS)' (22nd place), this year's solo singles 'Seven (feat. Latto)' (1st place) and '3D (feat. Jack Harlow)' (5th place), and the collaboration 'TOO MUCH' with The Kid LAROI and Central Cee (44th place). With 'Standing Next to You,' Jungkook now has a total of six songs that have charted on 'Hot 100', setting a new record for the most entries by a K-pop solo artist on the chart. He is also the only Korean solo artist to have three songs in the top 10 of this chart.

Furthermore, 'Standing Next to You' directly topped both the 'Global 200' and 'Global (Excl. US)' charts, with 'Seven' rebounding to 2nd place on both charts.

Jungkook's 'GOLDEN' reached 2nd place on the main album chart 'Billboard 200', tying for the highest ranking for a K-pop solo artist. According to the Billboard chart preview article on the 13th, 'GOLDEN' sold 164,800 copies in album sales, 29,800 in SEA (streaming equivalent albums), and 15,600 in TEA (track equivalent albums), totaling 212,000 copies sold.

Notably, 'GOLDEN' set the record for the highest first-week sales in the US for a K-pop solo artist's album. With 'GOLDEN' being the first K-pop solo album to surpass 200,000 copies in local first-week sales, Jungkook has further elevated his status as a 'Global Pop Star'.
