"Global pop star" Jungkook has taken over the global music market from the very first day of his new song '3D' release.

BTS's Jungkook, who released his second solo single '3D (feat. Jack Harlow)' at 1 PM (KST) on the 29th, has topped the iTunes 'Top Songs' chart in 100 countries/regions including the US, UK, Canada, Italy, and Japan as of 8 AM on the 30th.

In addition, '3D (Instrumental)' and '3D (Alternate Ver.)' ranked in the top 2-3 positions in numerous countries/regions on the iTunes 'Top Songs' chart. Every track released on the 29th ranked high, proving Jungkook's global influence.

The music video for '3D' also surged in popularity. Shortly after its release, it secured the top spot on YouTube's trending videos in the US and UK, among other regions. It swiftly surpassed 10 million views in just about 15 hours.

'3D' is an R&B pop track with a memorable minimalistic instrumental arrangement. It's characterized by its impactful rhythm and catchy repeating sound, conveying a message of wanting to meet the 'you' beyond the 1st and 2nd dimensions, in the 3D realm, and always wanting to be together as 'us'. The song incorporates an old-school vibe based on mid-2000s hip-hop and dance, which Jungkook reinterprets in his unique style. The combination of Jungkook's captivating vocals and the featured American rapper Jack Harlow enhances the song's sensual atmosphere.

Meanwhile, after the success of 'Seven (feat. Latto)' released last July, Jungkook has further solidified his position as a "global pop star" with his new hit '3D'.
