NewJeans continues their impressive run on the main U.S. Billboard charts.

According to the latest U.S. Billboard chart released on August 8th (local time) for the week of August 12th, NewJeans-comprising members Minji, Hani, Daniel, Haerin, and Hyein-claimed the 6th spot on the 'Billboard 200' with their second mini-album 'Get Up'.

This marks their 2nd consecutive week in the 'Top 10' of the 'Billboard 200'. Previously, NewJeans had topped this chart on August 5th with 'Get Up' and demonstrated explosive growth within just a year of their debut by placing all three title tracks from the album on the 'Hot 100'.

Their title track 'Super Shy' ascended to 77th on this week's 'Hot 100', marking its 4th consecutive week on the chart. The song had previously peaked at its all-time high of 48th place last week.

While the 'Hot 100' factors in U.S. radio broadcasts and equivalent album sales, NewJeans' prominence is even more evident on the Billboard charts, which rank the most popular songs based on streams and music sales (downloads) gathered from over 200 regions worldwide.

In fact, 'Super Shy' maintained its strong performance, ranking 3rd on this week's 'Billboard Global (Excluding US)' and 8th on 'Global 200'. Another title track, 'ETA', is also garnering attention, ranking 10th on 'Global (Excluding US)' and 28th on 'Global 200', proving its tandem popularity with 'Super Shy'.

Back home, NewJeans has been dominating major music charts for a while now. 'Super Shy' has been holding the number one spot on Melon and Genie charts for approximately a month, and recently, 'ETA' climbed to the top on Bugs and Flo.

On another note, after successfully performing at the major U.S. music festival 'Lollapalooza Chicago' on August 3rd (local time), NewJeans is set to meet fans globally as they are scheduled to perform at 'Summer Sonic 2023' in Japan on the 19th.
