BTS Jungkook once again proves his stature as a world-class pop star by officially setting two new Guinness World Records.

On the 2nd of the month, the UK's Guinness World Records officially announced through their website that Jungkook's "Seven" had been streamed a staggering 89,748,171 times (after filtering) on Spotify in a week, making it "the most-streamed track by a male artist globally."

Additionally, they acknowledged another impressive feat: "After its release on July 14th, by July 21st, 'Seven' had recorded 100 million streams (after filtering) on Spotify's 'Daily Top Songs Global', the quickest by any male artist track." These accomplishments have thus been officially recognized and recorded in the Guinness World Records.

Notably, back in May, Jungkook had already etched his name in the Guinness World Records by achieving the fastest 1 billion streams by a K-pop solo artist on Spotify, taking his total to three major streaming records.

On its release day, "Seven" skyrocketed to No. 1 on Spotify's 'Daily Top Songs Global' by registering an impressive daily count of 15,995,378 streams. Throughout the week, it amassed 89,748,171 streams, securing the top spot on the 'Weekly Top Songs Global' chart. By the eighth day, it had accumulated an outstanding 120,505,793 streams (after filtering).

Previously, "Seven" had shattered records by surpassing 100 million streams on Spotify, including both group and solo artists worldwide, in a record time of six days.

Apart from this, Jungkook's "Seven" has also made waves on the prominent U.S. music chart, Billboard's 'Global 200', by registering a record-breaking weekly stream count of 217.1 million for a solo artist. As of the 6th (Korean time), based on Spotify's count, "Seven" has maintained its reign at the No. 1 spot on the 'Daily Top Songs Global' chart for an unprecedented 22 days for an Asian solo artist and for three consecutive weeks on the 'Weekly Top Songs Global' chart, a record for a K-pop artist.

In related news, Jungkook was crowned the 'Top K-Pop Artist of 2022' by Spotify's year-end roundup, further establishing his powerful presence and influence as a global artist.
