K-pop singer Soyou recently reflected on her time as a member of Sistar.

On July 26, a video titled 'The Reason There Were No Feuds in Sistar' was posted on the 'Hey News' YouTube channel.

In the video, after meeting with announcer Kang Jiyoung, Soyou remarked, "You're a bit intimidating in person. You seem like a teacher."

To this, Kang responded, "I was actually a bit nervous since you have this tough older sister image, Soyou. I didn't expect you to call me intimidating first." She then asked if Soyou doesn't feel relaxed when she can't sense a submissive attitude from someone she's meeting for the first time.

Soyou acknowledged she could sense the intimidation but shared, "I really felt it when I was in Sistar, but it seems to have disappeared at some point after I went solo. I think a lot of people feel more comfortable with me now that I have my YouTube channel."

She also reminisced about her time in Sistar. Soyou shared, "Back then, I felt more apologetic than anything to the other members. Some members would come home late after finishing schedules, but I was always at the dorm."

Specifically responding to the question, "Did you ever have any conflicts during the eight years as a group?", Soyou stated, "If we were upset about something, we talked about it right away."

Upon hearing this, Kang shared, "Some have speculated that there were no conflicts because 'even a slight offense could have been deadly,' and 'Soyou was the real leader.'" Soyou laughed and said, "I've seen it. I've seen a meme saying that the reason there were no feuds in Sistar was that 'four strong personalities came together.'"

She clarified, "I'm not that tough," and added, "In the past, I wouldn't speak up even when things didn't go my way. The other members spoke for me." She emphasized her sensitive nature.

On a side note, Soyou released her second mini-album 'Summer Recipe' on July 26.
