Jungkook, a member of the group BTS, shared his thoughts on hitting #1 on the Billboard charts and his upcoming appearance on a music show. Jungkook held a live broadcast on the fan community Weverse on July  26.

That day, he mentioned hitting #1 on Billboard, saying, "I had fun performing in New York and London after a while. It reminded me of (domestic) music broadcasts. I was thinking, 'What should I do?' Then, I found out that we had hit #1 on Billboard. I was really grateful. I felt like I needed to give something back."

Jungkook added, "Normally, I wouldn't be able to do it just because I wanted to, but it ended up happening. I had a discussion, and that's how the decision was made. I think I'll get to see the ARMYs on the music show. Not many of them, but I'm really looking forward to it. The decision was made rather hastily, so there might not be many people on stage. I wanted to see them before the excitement cooled down. This was good news. There might be something else as well."

He also said, "It's been a long time since I've been to a broadcasting station. It feels like it's been a year. Maybe even more. It's going to feel really unfamiliar. I'm only appearing on 'Inkigayo'. Because of an already scheduled commitment, it only worked out for Sunday. I originally thought about doing a live broadcast music show, but there turned out to be a lot of things I needed to do. It ended up being hastily arranged."

Meanwhile, Jungkook released his first solo single, 'Seven', on the 14th. 'Seven' swept all the top spots on the US Billboard 'Hot 100', 'Global 200', and 'Global Excl. U.S.' charts, proving its immense popularity.
