YG's rookie girl group, BabyMonster, aims for a debut in September.

According to YG Entertainment on July 11, under the leadership of executive producer Yang Hyun-suk, the debut project of BabyMonster (members: Ruka, Parita, Asa, Ahyun, Haram, Lora, and Chikita) is rapidly progressing. A fierce hip-hop genre song has been decided as the debut track, targeting a release in September, and they are currently in full swing with choreography and music video preparations.

YG has, so far, invited renowned foreign producers to Korea to conduct multiple song camps for the album production of BabyMonster. Through this, they have secured numerous tracks, including the debut song, and are quickly progressing with the follow-up projects lined up after the debut.

This confirms the steady progress of Yang's earlier promise when he announced the confirmed members of Baby Monsters, stating, "The debut will not exceed this fall." YG stated, "Global fans are making many inquiries about the debut timing of Baby Monsters, so we are informing you of the current progress. We will deliver good news soon."

What song BabyMonster will debut with is also of keen interest. The anticipation of global music fans is at its peak, as it's been announced that their song will be a powerful hip-hop genre tune in the 'YG style', continuing the lineage of 2NE1 and Blackpink. Expectations are high for the music that the group will present, as they have been radiating a 'hip' aura, filled with the YG identity, with powerful performances, unique stage manners, and explosive rapping shown through their debut reality show.

Meanwhile, BabyMonster is the girl group YG is launching about 7 years after Blackpink. Composed of members from Korea (Ahyeon, Haram, Rora), Thailand (Pharita, Chiquita), and Japan (Ruka, Asa), each possessing top-tier skills in vocals, dance, rap, and visuals, they are stirring up K-pop as 'monstrous rookies' bearing everyone's expectations.

In fact, BabyMonster have proven their overwhelming global buzz even before their official debut. Their pre-debut song 'DREAM' topped the Billboard 'Hot Trending Songs' chart in the United States even before its official release, and it has garnered over 47.10 million views on YouTube, forecasting an extraordinary wave of popularity.
