This year marks Tang Wei's second consecutive appearance at the Cannes Film Festival. She was present at the 75th Cannes Film Festival last year for her film 'Decision to Leave,' which won the award for Best Director.

Meanwhile, Tang Wei, a Chinese-born actress, rose to fame through the 2007 movie 'Lust, Caution.' Currently holding a Hong Kong residency, she's active in various fields. She gained recognition in South Korea through the film 'Late Autumn,' directed by Kim Tae-yong, and starring opposite Hyun Bin, and has won numerous Best Actress awards. In 2014, she married Korean director Kim Tae-yong, and they welcomed a daughter in 2016.
