BTS Jimin has shined in global popularity, achieving outstanding sales records in the United States and Japan.

According to 'Charts Data,' which provides real-time updates on the global music market, Jimin's 'Like Crazy' has set a new milestone in pop history by reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It has recorded the most downloads in the United States for a male solo song in 2023.

This astonishing achievement surpasses popular tracks like Morgan Wallen's 'Last Night' and Beyoncé's 'CUFF IT,' ranking second in sales after Miley Cyrus' 'Flowers.'

Jimin is the only non-English-speaking artist to make it into the top 10 download sales, both as a group and solo artist. With his pre-released track 'Set Me Free Pt. 2' at number six, Jimin is the only artist to have two songs on this year's top 10 download chart.

'Like Crazy' broke the 500,000-unit sales mark in just 33 days since its release, making it the fastest-selling solo song in Korean history. It also earned gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) without any collaborations with international artists. With this accomplishment, Jimin becomes the first and only Korean solo artist to have four gold certifications, including 'Lie,' 'Filter,' and 'Serendipity FLE.'

Jimin also achieved outstanding sales in Japan. His debut solo album 'FACE,' which includes 'Like Crazy,' sold 248,400 copies, ranking first among Korean solo artists on the Oricin of the Year chart and seventh overall.

'FACE' set a new record for a Korean solo artist on the Oricon chart with an initial sales figure of 222,120 copies. It also swept the 'Weekly Digital Album Ranking,' 'Weekly Album Ranking,' and 'Weekly Combined Album Ranking,' making Jimin the first solo artist to achieve a triple crown in 2023.

The album has recorded a cumulative shipment of 250,000 copies, earning platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ). This is the best performance by a K-pop solo artist for a Korean album in 2023.

Meanwhile, with his 'FACE' album, Jimin became the first solo artist to achieve million-seller status on the first day, selling over 1.45 million copies initially and currently holding a cumulative sales record of 1,583,299. Jimin continues to break down barriers in the massive music markets of the United States and Japan, where non-English-speaking artists often struggle to succeed, writing his legendary story.
