FIFTY FIFTY Overcomes 'Plagiarism Controversy' and Tops Circle Chart's Global K-pop Chart Daily

FIFTY FIFTY's 'Cupid - Twin Ver.' has begun its reverse domination on domestic charts following its global success.

FIFTY FIFTY's debut single, 'The Beginning: Cupid,' released on February 24th, saw its title track 'Cupid - Twin Ver.' top Circle Chart's Global K-pop Chart daily chart on April 28th. In addition, the original version of 'Cupid' reached 11th place on the chart.

FIFTY FIFTY entered the Billboard 'HOT 100' chart at number 100, just 130 days after their debut, the shortest time for a Korean artist in history, and fired up their popularity in the North American market. FIFTY FIFTY's popularity continued to rise, staying on the chart for an impressive five weeks and reaching as high as 50th place.

FIFTY FIFTY is also making new records every day on the UK's Official Chart and Spotify, which boasts the largest number of users worldwide. With the world taking notice of the group first, domestic fans are now focusing their attention on FIFTY FIFTY.

It is extremely difficult for an idol group from a small to medium-sized agency, especially a girl group, to rise on domestic music charts. Nevertheless, the news of entering the Billboard 'HOT 100' undoubtedly gave strength to FIFTY FIFTY, and they began to show growth on various sub-charts.

The momentum of FIFTY FIFTY's rise was unstoppable. In fact, 'Cupid' is currently climbing up the main charts of all music sites. As of 9 a.m. on May 2nd, 'Cupid' ranked 4th on Bugs 'TOP 100', 10th on Naver VIBE 'TOP 100', 12th on FLO 'TOP 100', 20th on Genie 'TOP 200', and 23rd on Melon 'TOP 100', showing a strong presence across all charts.

FIFTY FIFTY's record of topping Circle Chart's Global K-pop Chart daily is expected to be the beginning of their reverse chart domination. Fans are looking forward to FIFTY FIFTY's future activities both globally and domestically.
