Actor Nam Joo-hyuk's agency has clarified his position regarding the 'sparring' video that sparked school violence allegations against him.

On April 28 (KST), Management Forest stated, "Nam Joo-hyuk has no connection to the so-called 'sparring' video included in the YouTube content. Furthermore, he has never forced anyone to participate in sparring or been involved in it."

The agency added, "Nam Joo-hyuk first learned about the existence of the video during his initial meeting with the informant and has confirmed its content. Even after watching the video, the actor does not appear in it, and there is no content related to him. We express strong regret toward the YouTube media that mentioned the video as if the actor was involved in the sparring."

Lastly, the agency said, "An investigation related to school violence is currently underway. Proving that you didn't do something is very difficult. We earnestly request that one-sided reports be refrained from until the investigation results are out."

Previously, YouTuber Lee Jin-ho released a video on his channel 'Entertainment Behind the Scenes,' featuring a clip provided by a person referred to as A, who claims to be a victim of Nam Joo-hyuk's school violence. The video showed two male students surrounded by several others, appearing to fight, and A claimed that the sparring was forced by a group of bullies, including Nam Joo-hyuk.

Meanwhile, Nam Joo-hyuk entered the army training center on the 20th of last month and is currently serving in the military police mobile unit. Last year, he was accused of being a perpetrator of school violence but denied the allegations as "baseless" and took legal action.
