IVE, K-Pop's Next Generation Powerhouse, Dominates U.S. Billboard Charts with Double Title Tracks

South Korean girl group IVE's double title tracks have entered the U.S. Billboard charts.

According to the latest charts (as of April 29th) released by Billboard, IVE's double title tracks 'Kitsch' and 'I AM' from their first full-length album 'IVE I've' have made their mark on multiple Billboard charts.

'I AM', which debuted on the charts last week, has shown a steep upward trajectory, performing well on several charts for the second week in a row. On the 'Billboard Global 200' chart, 'I AM' climbed 31 spots to land at #21, while on the 'Billboard Global Excl. U.S.' chart, it jumped 19 spots to reach #11.

The double title track 'Kitsch' has also made its presence known on the Billboard charts for three consecutive weeks. 'Kitsch', which entered the 'Billboard Global 200' chart at #76 last week, soared 17 places to rank at #59. On the 'Billboard Global Excl. U.S.' chart, where it has been listed for four consecutive weeks, it climbed 5 spots to reach #36.

In addition, 'I AM' has achieved a 6th place ranking on the 'World Digital Song Sales' chart, entering the chart for the second week in a row. Their first full-length album 'IVE I've' has also managed to maintain its position at #7 on the 'World Albums' chart and #8 on the 'Heatseekers Albums' chart, once again proving IVE's global popularity.

U.S. music publication Billboard has also highlighted IVE's accomplishments. In an article published on April 24th (local time), Billboard praised IVE, stating, "Despite debuting less than two years ago, IVE has already established itself as the next generation powerhouse of K-Pop. Known for their beautiful harmony, comforting lyrics, and self-love concept, IVE has made it into the top 10 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart with 'After LIKE' and 'LOVE DIVE.'"

Furthermore, Billboard drew attention to the factors contributing to IVE's success, quoting Seo Hyun-ju, Vice President and Executive Producer at Starship Entertainment. She explained that one of IVE's strengths and weapons is their ability to "maintain constant yet unchanging values," which has made them an outstanding group that captivates fans. She added, "As they have showcased various colors and charms with each song they've released, they are growing into a group that is eagerly awaited and evokes curiosity."
