Jessi recently addressed rumors surrounding her departure from Psy's P-Nation label and shed light on her decision to join Jay Park's new label, MORE VISION. On KBS 2TV's "The Seasons: Jay Park's Drive," Jessi spoke candidly about her experiences in the music industry.

Initially, Jessi was an artist under P-Nation, founded by veteran idol Psy. However, she chose not to renew her contract, officially leaving the agency in July last year. Since then, she had not joined another agency despite numerous offers. Jessi finally signed with Jay Park's label, MORE VISION, on April 15th.

During her interview on "The Seasons," Jessi revealed her initial plans after leaving P-Nation: "I was actually going to start a company by myself. But it wasn't that easy when I tried it." This statement debunked rumors of a bad departure from P-Nation, which intensified when fellow artists HyunA and Dawn also ended their contracts with Psy.

Regarding her decision to join MORE VISION, Jessi explained that she saw it as the perfect opportunity for a fresh start. Jay Park introduced Jessi during the show, stating, "She signed a contract with MORE VISION, which I founded not long ago, and became a family member. Jessie has received a lot of love calls from various companies."

Jessi responded by sharing her reasons for choosing MORE VISION: "(I) am the type of person who challenges everything, but this time, I thought it was perfect if I go to Jaebeom. A new start. As his first artist." The singer also playfully reminded Jay Park of her expectations, saying, "Do it right." Jay Park assured her that he would work hard in his role. "The Seasons" is a talk show produced by KBS, featuring different hosts for each season. "Jay Park's Drive" marked the end of the first season, and the second season will be hosted by Choi Jung Hoon, a member of the band Jannabi.
