BLACKPINK member Jisoo recalled her first meeting with her fellow members.

On April 23, an interview video of BLACKPINK's Jisoo was posted on the YouTube channel "Vogue Taiwan."

In the video, Jisoo said, "It still doesn't feel quite real. For example, when I heard that we were number one in YouTube subscribers, I thought, 'That's amazing.'"

Regarding her first impressions of the BLACKPINK members, she said, "When I first arrived, Jennie was there. I thought, 'She's so cool.' She looked hip wearing a hat. Lisa had a quiet and chic vibe. As it turned out, she was quiet because her Korean wasn't fluent yet."

She spoke about her first encounter with fans, saying, "I saw them for the first time at our debut showcase. Fans came to support us during the pre-recording. I thought, 'Do they know who we are?' I didn't know if they were just the audience or our fans, but they said they were our fans. I was so touched."

Their first music video was for 'Whistle.' Jisoo said, "When I think about that time, I was just so excited. We filmed all night for five days, but everyone was full of energy. We kept drinking energy drinks and filmed with high tension."

Regarding her morning routine, she revealed, "I take probiotics and wash my face. At night, I take a half-body bath and do a face mask. I stretch and then turn on an electric heating pad to sleep warmly."

When she was young, her dream was to be a painter. She added, "After that, I wanted to be a doctor. But to be a doctor, you have to study well, and I didn't think I had that much perseverance. I was good at scoring goals on a basketball hoop, so I wanted to be a basketball player too."

Her first songwriting experience was with "LoveSick Girls." Jisoo said, "Jennie and I wrote it together and brought it to Teddy oppa, who mixed it well. It felt really good when our lyrics were included."
