Veteran actress Jeon Do-yeon experienced significant tension in her first-ever full-fledged action film, which resulted in minor injuries and some that seemed quite dangerous. The film in question is the Netflix movie "Kill Boksoon."

In a recent interview at a café in Jongno-gu, Seoul, Jeon Do-yeon mentioned the injuries she sustained while filming "Kill Boksoon."

The scene that caused such a surprising injury to Jeon Do-yeon involved Kilboksoon (played by Jeon Do-yeon) fighting against five other killers. According to Jeon Do-yeon, this scene took over a month to shoot. "I think it was the scene that took the longest to film," she said.

With multiple people involved in the scene, there were many precautions to take. As not everyone was an action-specialist actor, they were fully focused during the shoot. When the director called cut, they would quickly apologize to each other and reassure one another they were okay.

"Although it was a difficult situation to be considerate, we tried our best to be careful and mindful of each other. We were tense and spent a long time practicing," she explained.

During the filming of this scene, Jeon Do-yeon suffered a head injury and received stitches at the hospital. Her dedication to returning to the set with the stitched wound and continuing to shoot amazed the staff.

Jeon Do-yeon said, "It wasn't because someone hurt me, but there was a problem with the set." She added, "At that time, I had a minor injury on my head, and everyone said it was fortunate that it wasn't worse. Later, I also thought, 'I'm glad it was only this bad.'"

"Kill Boksoon" has achieved high popularity, including being ranked number one worldwide among non-English language Netflix films. When asked what she would do if offered a role in the sequel, Jeon Do-yeon replied, "Action seems challenging. If the story of the daughter comes out in the sequel, maybe I can be a supportive mother," she said with a smile.

"Kill Boksoon" tells the story of a killer named Kilboksoon, who works for a seemingly ordinary event company but specializes in contract killing. She decides to quit her job to tear down the wall between her and her daughter but ends up breaking the company's rules in the process. The film is streaming on Netflix.
