Brave Girls leads the May Reputation Rankings!

Brave Girls is a South Korean girl group under Brave Entertainment, debuted on April 7, 2011. The current lineup consists of Minyoung, Yejeong, Eunji, and Yuna.

Every month, the 'Korean Business Research Institute' releases a list of Top 50 girl group who creates the most buzz in the entertainment industry. The four-member trending girl group, Brave Girls, once again took center stage by leading 'May Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings.'

Brave Girls have won first place with 'Rollin' on SBS's 'Inkigayo' second place was SG Wannabe's 'Timeless,' and third place went to Brave Girls' 'We Ride.' This year, in 2021, the group gained a sudden surge in popularity after their song 'Rollin' unexpectedly went viral.

'Rollin' was released on March 7, 2017, as the lead single from EP of the same name. It has been characterized as a dance-pop track that incorporates elements of tropical house.

On August 11, 2018, a rearranged version of the song titled 'Rollin' was released as a quartet due to member Hayun's departure from the group. Brave Entertainment announced that Hayun - a former member of the Brave Girls, would be sitting out of the group's activities due to health reasons.

However, in March 2019, in an interview with Brave Brothers, it was revealed that Hayun was no longer part of the Brave Girls.

The song initially failed to chart in South Korea when it was released four years later, in March 2021. However, it became popular when a compilation video of Brave Girls performing the song for the South Korean Military went viral in the country.

On May 9, the 'Korea Corporate Research Institute' released the results based on consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community indices. Brave Girls 'Rollin' became a nationwide hit and achieved the number one positions on both the 'Gaon Digital Chart' and the 'K-Pop Hot 100.'

Their song remained number one on both charts for two consecutive weeks. The girl group scored 3.71 million, a decrease of 30.98 percent from 5.36 million in April.
