After announcing a comeback with the latest album Hello Strange Dream, the popular five-member boy group, CIX, became the second artist group to top NEW K.ID's Weekly Chart in 2021.

The NEW K.ID is the only channel on TV that allows viewers to enjoy K-POP Idol-related content programming 24/7. It contains exclusive episodes curated from 10K+ videos available at CH 511 for free on LG Smart TVs and XUMO apps. It is also available at CH 1434 on Samsung TV Plus or CH 942 on VIZIO Free Channels on all Internet-connected devices.

CIX released a teaser image on January 13 with a hashtag, "T Castle Town," "CIX Town Scene #0," and "Hello Strange Dream." This excited fans with the hint of their comeback. Following "HELLO Chapter 3. Hello, Strange Time," which was released last October, "Hello Strange Time" will be the group's latest album.

BLACKPINK, which has been gearing up to finish preparations for their live-stream virtual concert 'THE SHOW' that will be showcased on January 31, comes in at #2.

In this live-streamed concert, YG Entertainment revealed in a statement that 'The Band Six' will join BLACKPINK once again to help with their performance. 

Furthermore, the selected Kpop artist by K-Pop Radar with the most increased fandom subscriber in December of 2020 taking the #3 spot is ATEEZ. Recently, the group has been virtually interacting with their fans with various content starring themselves.

The Other Kpop Group Top Notchers

Ranking at #5 is TREASURE, which asserts their global popularity with a huge success following their comeback. 

Just recently, the twelve-member group released their first official album, THE FIRST STEP: TREASURE EFFECT, and the album's title track, 'MY TREASURE' topped in Japanese streaming service, AWA, since its release. Furthermore, the album ranked first in the iTunes album chart in 18 different territories, including Brazil, Thailand, Spain, Hong Kong, Singapore, and India.

Meanwhile, WJSN, previously selected as having the second-best K-Pop album of 2020 by Billboard, bagged the #10 spot.
