The BTS's maknae, Jungkook, is again taking the spotlight as Twitter revealed that his "Never Not" tweet is Twitter's No. 2 most retweeted tweet in the world for 2020, following the tweet announcing Chadwick Boseman's passing. More reason for the ARMYs to celebrate is that BTS is No. 1 most tweeted musician for four consecutive years.

Since 2017, Jungkook's Twitter popularity was already prominent. In Asia's Golden Tweet for 2017, V's tweet showing the sleeping Jungkook being fed with french fries was announced as the most retweeted tweet.

Previously, when Jungkook became the only person in the world besides Barack Obama to have more than one tweet with over 2 million likes on Twitter, the golden maknae made huge headlines. Several Korean and international media reported the news, highlighting the immense worldwide popularity of Jungkook on the same level as the ex-POTUS.

Jungkook's Record-Breaking Tweets

Furthermore, the "Never Not" tweet of Jungkook is also No. 8 most retweeted tweet in the world of all time. The said tweet is the only one from @BTS_twt that made it into the Top 10.

What's more impressive is that Jungkook is also the only person in the world to have the three most retweeted tweets in the Top 15. This includes "Never Not" at No. 8, "Duh" at No. 11, and Savage Love #SavageLoveRemix at No. 15.

In India, Jungkook's "Never Not" is also the most retweeted tweet in India's music genre this year.

Jungkook's Impressive Record

Moreover, it can be seen that Jungkook experienced only a slight dip from his big win last year. In 2019 Jungkook's "Duh" Tweet, which shows him dancing to Billie Eilish's "Bad Guy," was No. 1 most retweeted tweet in the world.

Twitter, in an announcement, shared that Jungkook took over the throne on their @TwitterData account and their Year In Review article "#ThisHappened in 2019."

The idol's previous feat resulted in him holding the most retweeted tweet by a K-pop idol for three consecutive years.

Meanwhile, Jungkook's tweet in 2018 of him singing Park Won's "All Of My Life" was the most retweeted tweet in Korea. The tweet was called the Golden Tweet 2018 in Twitter Korea.
