This year, it seems like the dramas and films affected by the COVID-19 global pandemic are uncountable. This year, several productions were forced to pause their productions indefinitely for what it feels like the millionth time this year, while some deferred dates for their premiere and filming.

Hospital Playlist season 2

Allkpop reported that the second season of tvN's Hospital Playlist postponed its first script reading to January 6, 2021. It was previously made known that the series will start filming this month; however, due to the coronavirus, the filming will instead push through on January 11.

"We are at the stage of working hard at preparing the second season of 'Hospital Playlist,' and so we ask for your understanding about the fact that it would be hard for us to talk about a detailed schedule," a credible source told Sports DongA.

For the time being, the hit series's schedule is not yet in the final stage due to the conflicting effects of schedules, added by the coronavirus threat.

Mount Jiri

On December 8, tvN announced to pause its drama's production until December 20 to take measures in fighting the spread of COVID-19 on set. The drama is composed of cast ensemble Joo Ji Hoon, Jun Ji Hyun, Oj Jung Se, Sung Dong Il, and more.

Seobok

Fans of actors Park Bo Gum and Gong Yoo were shocked to hear that the duo's film entitled Seobok deferred the launch date into next year. The main reason is the intense spread of COVID-19 in the country.

A representative from CJ Entertainment shared that the matter was decided to prevent further damage by COVID-19. That said, the movie will be scheduled for a 2021 release, per Soompi.

Life Is Beautiful

The musical film Life Is Beautiful will also see a 2021 release due to widespread coronavirus patients in South Korea. The film hailed lead stars Ryu Seung Ryong, Yun Jung Ah, Ong Seong Wu, and more.
