UP10TION’s Xiao Is COVID-19 Positive After Bitto And Kogyeol

TOP Media announces another shocking news for UP10TION

Allkpop reported that UP10TION's Xiao has the coronavirus, after fellow members Bitto and Kigyeol's diagnosis.

The saddening news was announced by the boy band's home management and recording label, TOP Media, revealing Xia is positive for COVID-19. The agency previously tested negative for the virus, but in another testing, results came in positive.

The remaining members of the band underwent two-week quarantine after the two members tested positive. Still, Xiao emerged to be a COVID-19 positive also after getting tested alongside fellow band members Sunyoul, Kuhn, Gyujin. And Hwanhee.

"During the period of self-quarantine, Xiao stayed in an isolated place without coming into contact with anyone and is asymptomatic," TOP media said. The agency continues to undergo additional testing as set by the protocol mandated by the health authorities.

To date, Xia has not issued a statement yet, but fans are in full worry about their idol's well-being. However, TOP Media assured the fans not to worry as they are doing their best to support and maintain its staff and artists' health.

TOP Media shared updates of Bitto and Kogyeol

Soompi shared the statement of TOP Media, kicking off the announcement by providing updates on Bitto and Kogyeol's state for the time being. The two lads are currently staying at a designated place after getting discharged on December 13 and December 14.

Member Bitto already tested negative, but Kogyeol still positive for COVID-19. However, Kogyeol was discharged as he is not infectious and not showing any symptoms at all. He will resume his daily activities while on self-quarantine and will be tested again later on.

Meanwhile, the remaining members Gyujin, Hwanhee, Kuhn, and Sunyoul, will return to their activities without any problems as they have already completed the self-quarantine period mandated by the authorities.
