The preemptive measure and advance thinking made by JYP Entertainment in fighting against COVID-19 showed good results. It was reported that all TWICE members are free from the coronavirus!

TWICE's COVID-19 results were released

JYP Entertainment, TWICE's official management and recording label, tested all the TWICE members after South Korean soloist Kim Chunga was confirmed to be positive for COVID-19.

Sana was the most-concerned member as she was the one who had direct contact with Chungha, leading to the vast possibility of her fellow band members to be infected, if ever she contracted the virus.

TWICE immediately got tested for the virus to help the disease not spread among the staff, but, thank goodness, the results came out negative! Sana, who is the direct contact of Chungha, is also negative for the virus.

Korea Boo reported that the entertainment agency of TWICE released a statement that says the matter. However, there is one more revelation made by the agency; it reads: "Sana will comply with the health authority's guidelines and self-quarantine until December 18."

For the time being, the remaining members of the band will continue fulfilling their schedules as planned.

Fans are demanding a statement from Sana

As per Pinkvilla, the delightful announcement of JYP Entertainment comes on the evening of December 7 (Monday), following the South Korea time zone.

However, fans of the South Korean all-girl group are asking for an update on Sana's current well-being while in quarantine. They are demanding the agency to share Sana's timely updates or make Sana update the fans so they won't have to worry about her.

Aside from Sana, other K-pop idols came in contact with Chungha, leading their respective agencies to secure a COVID-19 test for them. The names confirmed are Yeonjung, Mina, and Jung Chaeyeon.

All three female idols' agencies disclosed that they are still waiting for the tests' results and will surely update the fans whenever they have a hold.
