First APAN MUSIC AWARDS Is Headlined By BTS, BLACKPINK, MAMAMOO, & SEVENTEEN

The APAN Awards is slated to hold its first-ever music awards as it crowns the big winners of K-pop for their special notes in the K-pop music industry.

According to Hellokpop, the award-giving body of APAN Awards made known the bits of its first APAN Music Awards. It is an awarding ceremony dedicated to K-pop artists and its music as they lift the world-renowned music genre's card.

It was introduced on October 30 (Friday) by the Korean Entertainment Management Association. The association's local name is termed Yeonmaekiyo, which was given the vast opportunity to select the wide array of K-pop artists to be nominated.

Yeonmaekiyo is a team of various entertainment agencies and managements in the said music genre that aims to make the K-Culture spread in all parts of the world.

Awards and Categories

The awards event will give out ten crowns to the hailed winners.

The individual categories are Korean Female Solo Artist, Korean Male Solo Artist, Global Female Artist, and Global Male Solo Artist.

On the other hand, the group categories are Korean Female Group, Korean Male Group, Global Female, and Global Male Group.

Lastly, the top awards are the Female Entertainer of The Year Award and Male Entertainer of The Year Award.

Additionally, an appreciation for the K-pop artists who have released the most impactive and influential Korean pop songs will be given, with the list that hails ten artists. It will be called the APAN Top 10.

Nominees

As per Bandwagon, the voting has already started headlined by BTS, BLACKPINK, SEVENTEEN, MAMAMOO, Stray Kids, GOT7, Red Velvet, and more.

BTS, BLACKPINK, NCT, SEVENTEEN, Secret Number, Red Velvet, Hwa Sa, Kang Daniel, Ha Sung Woon, IU, and Whee In are in the first line for most voted artists in their respective nominated category.

Fans can vote for their bet artists via IDOLCHAMP; an application downloaded on Android and iOS.

Meanwhile, the 2020 APAN Music Awards will occur at the Kyunghee University Grand Peace Palace on November 28.
