Lee Ho-Seok, best known as Wonho, recently dropped his first album as a solo artist entitled Love Synonym (#1) Right for Me on September 4. The said album has emerged victorious in storming over various music charts from different parts of the world.

Moreover, the album is still on its game-strong fuel in the topping chart as it enters its third week since it was released.

Wonho tops Japan’s Oricon charts

The Losing You singer topped the renowned Japanese Oricon Chart with his debut album Love Synonym (#1) Right for Me, taking the top spot in the September weekly album figures. Japan’s most outstanding and well-known album sales and aggregation sites released the numbers that show Wonho’s domination, dating September 7 to September 13.

Furthermore, the album proved its reign when it bagged popularity and finished its first spot on the Hanteo Weekly Global Chart. Love Synonym (#1) Right for Me’s power on the world’s only real-time music chart took place on the September 3-week chart, collected on September 14 – September 20.

Upon the album’s release, it debuted on iTunes’ Albums Chart number one spot in the U.K., U.S., Germany, India, France, Australia, Canada, and Brazil. It also dominated in over 20 countries on the same music platform’s Top K-POP chart. Additionally, it ranked in the third spot in ten countries like Hong Kong, Japan, and Taiwan.

The album’s lead single, titled Open Mind, climbed it's way up to Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart’s fourth spot, while the album ranked number nine on the Billboard World Albums Chart. Moreover, it dominated Heatseekers Chart at the 19th spot, Album Sales Chart at the 81st spot, Emerging Artists Chart at the 28th spot, and Current Album Sales Chart at the 51st spot.

Wonho is set to grace his first online concert

For the time being, Wonho is preparing for his upcoming first online concert entitled WONHO SPECIAL LIVE #IWONHOYOU on September 27.
