Jungkook had always dreamed of getting a tattoo. In a reality show back in 2014, he revealed some of the things he dreamed of doing as a grown-up, and one of these was to get a tattoo.

In the summer last year, he finally achieved his dream of getting inked. Now, more than ten known tatts can that peaks covering his fingers and up to his shoulder.

According to Koreaboo, the mystery tattoo was first seen by fans on June 14, while BTS was leaving their virtual BANG BANG CON: THE LIVE concert. The tattoo is said to be a large eye with a reddish tone in the pupil. The matter got the fans wondering if it was a new tattoo or had it been there since 2019, well-hidden.

However, Jungkook never talked about his tattoos or the stories behind it to the public. Also, anyone doesn't know when he exactly got each one of them.

A scene from BTS' 5th Muster DVD confirmed that the red-eye tattoo was indeed added afterward after much searching. The shows were performed in November and December last year, and Jungkook did not have the tattoo on his arm at that time.

Sources from Somag News say that eye tattoos can have different meanings. It can be associated with individuals who seek the truth, trust, and protection. A tattoo of an eye found in the rear parts of the body, or in Jungkook's case, back of the arm talks about looking to stay alert and feel safe.

Jungkook has yet to fully reveal his tattoos, for he's been keeping his arms covered well ever since he got them inked. Nonetheless, his hand's most obvious and prominent ones include their fandom's name 'ARMY' and its official logo.
