BTS member Jimin, currently serving in active military duty alongside other members RM, Jin, J-Hope, Suga, V, and Jungkook, has completed his 5-week basic military training and is moving on to his unit.

Jimin finished his training on January 17 at the Army's 5th Infantry Division.

He enlisted with Jungkook on December 12, 2023.

Notably, Jimin excelled during his training period, emerging as the top trainee overall, which earned him the highest commendation from Division Commander Yoon Gi-Jung. He also represented his fellow trainees in the oath-taking ceremony.

Following this, Jimin shared his thoughts through the official fan community Weverse on January 17, saying, "Tomorrow marks the day I complete my training at the base. Over a month has passed, and sometimes it feels long, but with Jungkook here, time also seems to pass quickly. It wasn't a long time, but I already miss all of you so much."

He mentioned, "I've been keeping in touch with the members through public phone calls, and Jungkook is also doing his best in the military. He's doing so well in training that everyone says, 'That's our Jungkook hyung.' Being together, we rely on each other a lot and give each other strength."

Furthermore, he added, "I'll soon be heading to my unit, and I will try to adapt well and take good care of myself there. I hope all our ARMYs take care of themselves too, avoid colds, stay healthy, eat well, and keep positive thoughts."

Meanwhile, Jimin and Jungkook continue their active duty at the same location.
