The group NewJeans has showcased their global popularity by staying on the U.S. Billboard charts for an extended period.

According to the latest U.S. Billboard chart announced on the 31st of last month (local time) for November 4, NewJeans (comprising Minji, Hani, Daniel, Haerin, and Hyein) secured the 98th position on the main album chart 'Billboard 200' with their second mini-album 'Get Up'. Since debuting at #1 on the 'Billboard 200' dated August 5th, 'Get Up' has consistently remained on the chart for 14 consecutive weeks, setting a new record for the longest-charting 4th-generation K-pop girl group.

The title track from 'Get Up', 'Super Shy', along with 'ETA', is making a dual run of popularity on global charts. This week, 'Super Shy' climbed six positions from last week, ranking 38th on 'Global (Excluding U.S.)', and rose 14 spots to rank 56th on 'Global 200', maintaining its place for 16 consecutive weeks. Meanwhile, 'ETA' has been on the charts for 14 weeks, sitting at 88th and 156th on both charts respectively.

NewJeans' track 'GODS', released on the 4th of last month, has made its mark on the 'Global (Excluding U.S.)' Billboard chart for three consecutive weeks. As the theme song for the '2023 League of Legends (LoL) World Championship', 'GODS' uniquely made its name on the Billboard charts, reaffirming NewJeans' strong influence.

NewJeans has become the most nominated K-pop artist for the '2023 Billboard Music Awards (BBMA)', with nominations in four categories (totaling five nominations, including one in a multiple nominations category). After hitting #1 on the 'Billboard 200' this year and charting a whopping five songs ('OMG', 'Ditto', 'Super Shy', 'ETA', and 'Cool With You') on the main singles chart 'Hot 100', expectations are high for NewJeans' first BBMA win.
