Singer Hwang Young-woong, who took a hiatus due to school bullying allegations, has announced his return to the music scene.

On September 26, Hwang Young-woong conveyed his Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving) greetings through his fan cafe. He shared, "Our major holiday, Chuseok, is just around the corner. I hope you all have made many happy plans for the extended holiday. In celebration of Chuseok, I cautiously wish to present a gift to all of you."

He continued, "After the Chuseok holiday, as the weather turns chilly and we find ourselves in the midst of autumn, my first mini-album is scheduled to be released."

Furthermore, Hwang Young-woong expressed, "I wanted to share the news of this painstakingly prepared album with all of you first. I've worked hard to ensure the songs won't disappoint, given the anticipation. I hope you look forward to it."

Previously, Hwang Young-woong was a strong contender for victory on the MBN trot competition program 'Burning Trotman' which concluded in March.
