Kwon Kwang Jin, formerly of CNBLUE and N.Flying, has clarified past controversies surrounding him.

On September 15, a video titled "Former Idol Kwon Kwang Jin, who was dismissed for dating a fan, says 'We got married'" was uploaded on the YouTube channel 'KiwootKiwoot'.

In the video, the production team asked Kwon, "You were dismissed from N.Flying for dating a fan. There were articles stating that while there was no sexual harassment, there was some interaction. What kind of interaction was it?"

To this, Kwon responded, "We were dating. There was a belief that I shouldn't date, so I lied out of self-defense when our relationship was discovered."

When asked if he felt unjust about his dismissal, Kwon said, "The company probably couldn't handle it when baseless sexual harassment accusations were added."

He also revealed a surprising fact: the fan he was dating at the time is now his wife. When asked how he started dating a fan, he said, "It was fate. She's now my wife. I fell for her because she's beautiful."

The production team, noticing his wife on the set, asked, "Is she the fan from back then?" to which Kwon confirmed, "Yes."

Adding to the shock, Kwon revealed that the person who spread the sexual harassment rumor was a close friend of his wife.

Kwon explained, "My wife's close friend was also a fan. She probably got jealous seeing us together. She spread baseless rumors, which shocked me. I filed a lawsuit against her."

To this, reporter Kim added humorously, "This is why pseudo-relationships are dangerous, as Bang Min Soo warned."

Previously, Kwon Kwang Jin debuted as a member of N.Flying in 2015, playing the bass. Before that, he was the bassist for CNBLUE. However, in December 2018, a post surfaced on an online community alleging that he was in a relationship with a fan and had sexually harassed fans during fan meetings, sparking controversy.

Angry fans demanded his withdrawal, but later it was revealed that the sexual harassment claims were false. Kwon sued those who spread false information and the malicious commenters, and they were found guilty.
