NewJeans' hit single 'Super Shy' continues its long-standing success on the U.S. Billboard 'Hot 100', marking its 8th consecutive week on the chart.

According to the latest chart released by U.S. Billboard on September 6th (local time) for the week of September 9th, NewJeans (comprising members Minji, Hani, Daniel, Haerin, and Hyein) from their second mini-album 'Get Up' saw their triple title track 'Super Shy' rank at 95th on the main song chart, 'Hot 100'. With this achievement, NewJeans surpassed their previous record from last week, setting a new personal best.

'Get Up' also made a significant impact on the main album chart, 'Billboard 200', securing the 24th spot. The album shot straight to 1st place upon its debut (as of August 5th) and has successfully remained on the chart for six consecutive weeks. Additionally, 'Get Up' climbed to the top spot on the 'World Albums' chart and secured 3rd and 4th places on 'Top Current Album Sales' and 'Top Album Sales' respectively.

Globally, NewJeans maintained a commendable performance across over 200 countries/regions. 'Super Shy' held its position in the upper echelons for the 8th week, ranking 7th on 'Global (Excluding U.S.)' and 16th on 'Global 200'. Another title track from 'Get Up', 'ETA', ranked 19th on 'Global (Excluding U.S.)' and 40th on 'Global 200'.

Riding on this wave of immense popularity, NewJeans has achieved the remarkable feat of being nominated for the 'Group of the Year' category at the upcoming '2023 MTV Video Music Awards' scheduled for September 12th. This marks the group's first nomination at a prestigious U.S. award ceremony, underscoring their global influence and stature just a year after their debut.
