This is an album that strongly radiates INFINITE's intention to show all facets of their musicality.

INFINITE released their seventh mini album, 'Begin', on July 31. This album is their first complete group release in about five years since the 3rd full-length album 'Top Seed' in 2018.

Excluding the intro track, the first song on the album is the title track, 'New Emotions'. Starting with an intriguing and addictive instrumental melody that lasts throughout the song, it stirs up excitement. The members' sexy and sensual vocals layered on top make the music trendier. In particular, Sungjong's part, 'Give me a sign, you who blossomed there where it's blurry,' refreshes the atmosphere of the song, thanks to his refreshing vocals.

'New Emotions' features the members' diverse vocals blending beautifully within the fast and repeating chords. The flawless transitions between full voice and falsetto showcase a maturity that appears to surpass their previous tracks. Though not particularly long at 2 minutes and 44 seconds, the song is a well-structured dance track with a clear progression in its melody.

The second track, 'Jet Lag', which member Woohyun identified as the most INFINITE-like song, marks the start of the music with a distinctive guitar riff and overall has a lively and fast-paced feel. Within it, INFINITE completed the song with their unique way of expressing love, as if they're shouting out and spewing it to someone. The members' poignant vocals, yearning for and seeking someone, stand out. It also brings to mind one of INFINITE's past hit songs, 'Be Mine'. It's a track that Woohyun confidently touts as one of the most well-rounded tracks on the album.

The atmosphere completely changes with the third track, 'I Got You'. Unlike the previous songs, this track captures the ear with a refreshing melody that feels much brighter. One of INFINITE's greatest strengths is that each member has a clearly distinct vocal style. Therefore, in 'I Got You', the same refreshing feeling is evenly distributed among different parts, each with their own strength and softness.

The final attempt of INFINITE is the fourth track, 'Find Me'. Along with the somewhat slowed-down melody, the members also display their vocals in a more balladic style. The part that says, "After the sky has finished staining blue," does not fall short in delivering a majestic feel with the guitar sound reminiscent of festival band music. Moreover, as the track that concludes the album, 'Find Me' beautifully wraps up the song with piano melodies.

Producer Kage, who has collaborated with numerous artists, commented on INFINITE's new song, saying, "The characteristics of the 2nd generation idol music remain intact. It maintains the melody lines that were popular at the time, but feels slightly more subdued," adding, "The not overly conspicuous but sensual bass line enhances the overall sophistication of the music."
