BTS's Jungkook has released the behind-the-scenes footage of his solo track, "Seven."

The video clip, which showcases Jungkook's recording session of 'Seven', was unveiled on the YouTube channel "Bangtan TV" on July 25.

Jungkook flew to LA in the United States this past April to record "Seven." There, he had the opportunity to work with Grammy award-winning music producer and composer, Andrew Wat.

In the car, Jungkook demonstrated vocal exercises with a straw. He explained, "I once strained my voice. So, I watched a video about straw phonation technique. It was said to help balance the vocal cords, so I tried it and found that the parts I couldn't do well were getting caught during straw phonation. I'm currently making this technique my own."

Displaying a determined attitude, Jungkook expressed, "Let's try. Let's face it." He also shared his initial impression of 'Seven.' "When we first listened to the song, both Bang PD and I exclaimed, 'This is so good.' I visualized myself singing this song. I thought it would be really cool to perform this when I return as a more mature artist. I loved it so much that I gladly accepted."

Continuing, he said, "I was curious about what the outcome would be if I worked in this way. I was also worried about 'What if the producer is disappointed that a vocalist from BTS is recording?'. Although it was confusing, I took the whole process positively."

Taking the producers' feedback seriously, Jungkook demonstrated a professional attitude during the recording. "I couldn't remember how well I sang or how I sang. I also needed to pronounce properly, so I put a lot of effort into that part. I diligently copied how foreign singers leave out the 'R' pronunciation and when they apply the silent treatment. It's not just me mimicking. I've put in a lot of effort," he explained.

Receiving praises from the producers while recording, Jungkook's tension eased. "I had to quickly catch the vibe, and it felt like my singing greatly improved. If I get the opportunity, I want to have this experience more in the future," he conveyed.

Hoping that the song would be well-received by many, Jungkook shared his feelings after the recording. "It felt okay when I listened to it afterward. I felt good. I gained confidence that 'I can do this. I can do even difficult things.' I also gained confidence that if I try a little harder, there's no song I can't do. It was a great experience and stimulation. Naturally, I also got a goal through this."

He added, laughing, "The goal is to do well with the song. Based on this, I will do what is needed for me, and my future will change because of this. Without this, I would have been rolling around at home, making sesame oil noodles, and watching animations."

In response to the question whether his dreams, goals, or thoughts have changed through this work, Jungkook responded, "Musically, I want to become a unique singer who can transcend the Korean music feel and pop. I want to master all genres. If I can. I'll become cooler. I'll go my own way."
