The girl group ILY:1, also known as 'the only pure idols of the 4th generation,' has expressed a strong desire to reach the pinnacle of purity.

ILY:1's second mini-album 'New Chapter' was unveiled at a showcase held at Ilji Art Hall in Gangnam, Seoul, on July 25.

Comprising six members - Ara, Lirika, Hana, Rona, Nayu, and Elva - from Korea, Japan, and Taiwan, ILY:1 has been celebrated for its pure image. Their new mini-album, 'New Chapter,' embodies the dreams of these six girls to turn a new page and begin anew in the world they have envisioned.

Positioned as the representative purity icon of the 4th generation, ILY:1 said, "Fin.K.L, S.E.S., GFRIEND, Oh My Girl, etc., are all seniors whom we would like to emulate." They wish to continue the lineage of purity that has been carried on since the first generation. They especially emphasized their desire to emulate the group Oh My Girl, whom they've considered their role model since debut and whose videos they've frequently watched.

Ara expressed, "I believe we have collected all the purity that the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generations possessed." She showed her ambition by adding, "We aim to show purity that encompasses all, as well as its historical perspective. We have the determination to reach the peak in terms of purity."

Their title song 'MY COLOR' embodies the will to find one's own color even in a dark and monochrome world. Apart from the title track, the album also includes 'Shining Sky,' a song that expresses a shy confession of love, and 'Blossom,' a pop genre track that maximizes charm with a refreshing tone against a retro sound.

Following their first mini-album 'A Dream of ILY:1,' ILY:1 made their comeback six months later, throwing down the gauntlet for the busy comeback period in July known as the 'idol comeback peak season'.

Ara showed determination for the group's activities by saying, "We want to show our growth, and we will have fun memories this summer." Lirika promised, "We want to show a different, mysterious, and mature side of ourselves for this new chapter."

Throughout the showcase, Hana, who showed a nervous energy, said, "Like 'MY COLOR,' we want to show our own color." Nayu added, "We want to support and perform together with our fellow groups amidst the girl group comeback war." Lastly, Rona boldly expressed, "Being the only pure idols of the 4th generation, we will seize the stage."

ILY:1's second mini-album 'New Chapter' was released at 6 pm on the same day.
