JYP Entertainment's Chinese trainee group Project C has been generating anticipation in the local market with its active activities even before its official debut.

JYP China, JYP's Chinese subsidiary, announced the trainee group Project C in China in 2021. Five trainees, including Luo Yan, Li Xijie, Huang Wenjin, Bai Yuanhao, and Liang Zexin, have been revealed as members of Project C, and they have been continuously active in various fields, including variety shows, dramas, and performances.

In particular, they are standing out in the local idol market based on their outstanding visuals, bright personality, and outstanding skills.

Project C was invited to the '2023 TMEA Music Festival', hosted by Tencent Music Entertainment, the largest music platform in China, which was held for two days on July 8 and 9 at the Galaxy Arena in Macau and near the Macau Tower.

On the 9th, they showed off their self-composed songs '314호星球' (314th planet) and '大航海家' (great navigator) and lit up the stage with their powerful performance. Despite being trainees, they showed their potential as the next generation of promising rookies with their diverse music styles, outstanding expressiveness, and stage presence.

Last year, all members of Project C were cast as the main characters in a youth miniseries produced by a local famous production company. The miniseries that Project C appears in tells the story of a passionate manager and five trainees running towards their dreams, and you can also meet new self-composed songs and stages. The miniseries is scheduled to be broadcast on major Chinese video platforms in the future.

JYP will unveil the trainee group Project C after Boy Story, which symbolizes JYP China's entry into the Chinese popular music market. In anticipation of its official debut, JYP has announced that it will build a strong fandom through its appearance at the '2023 TMEA Music Festival', the largest music event in Greater China, and the release of the miniseries.
