The pre-released single 'Super Shy' from girl group NewJeans has been shining with global popularity, as it approaches the top 10 on the Spotify charts in the United States.

According to their agency, ADOR, 'Super Shy', one of the triple title tracks from NewJeans' (Minji, Hani, Daniel, Haerin, Hyein) second mini album 'Get Up', ranked 11th on Spotify's U.S. 'Daily Top Songs' chart on July 12th local time.

The song has been on a rapid ascent since its release, entering the chart at 37th on the first day (July 7th) and has continued to climb. Just four days after its release, the song peaked at 26th, and then climbed to 15th on July 11th. Within another day, the song moved up another four spots, reaching a new high on the Spotify U.S. 'Daily Top Songs' chart.

NewJeans is also consistently climbing the Spotify Global 'Daily Top Songs' chart. 'Super Shy' entered the chart at 46th (July 7th), then jumped to 33rd on the 8th, 18th on the 9th, and 13th on the 12th. As time passes, the band's unique popularity pattern of steady upward mobility seems to be repeating itself.

In their home country, they're nothing short of unstoppable. 'Super Shy' has conquered the top of major music charts like Melon, Genie, Bugs, and Flo, demonstrating a true 'all-kill'. Powered by this success, NewJeans managed to clinch 1st place on Mnet's 'M Countdown' on July 13th without any broadcast appearance.

NewJeans will continue to give back to their fans by appearing on KBS2's 'Music Bank' this afternoon (14th) and on SBS's 'Inkigayo' on the 16th.

The group previously stirred up discussion by releasing dance practice videos for 'Super Shy' and 'New Jeans'. The refreshing, dynamic point choreography and impressive large-scale group dance with 20 dancers in 'Super Shy', and the 'New Jeans' performance that highlights each member's individuality and teamwork, have all generated anticipation for what NewJeans will bring to the stage.

Meanwhile, NewJeans' second mini-album 'Get Up', which includes 'Super Shy', is set to be released on July 21st at 1 PM. The album contains a total of six songs, including 'Super Shy', as well as other title tracks 'ETA' and 'Cool With You'.
